Great food. Great customer service. What a great find. Breakfast was fast and hot. Customer service came by to fill coffee many times.

All i can say is they have the best gravy ive ever tasted in my life! Found this place on a whim on vacation. Looks a little rough on the outside but wow. Food was delicious. I had eggs that i added green chiles and cheese to. Yum. I like dipping my toast in gravy. I ended up eating the rest of the bowl with a spoon!

Very good. Sat at bar during busy time. . Loved the music. Biscuits and gravy very yummy. Bacon could be cooked more. Double cheeseburger very big and good!!!

If it weren't for my friend who is kind of a foodie, I would have never known of this place. It is larger than it looks from the outside as it is located on the east side of Thomas and 56th Street. Parking can be a challenge up front and even in the back it can be tough during peak times. But all that is worth it once you get inside. It is nothing fancy but it is clean and the service is amazingly friendly. But it is the food that really makes this place stand out. They have some different variations worth trying out. Like I love chicken fried steak and while they do the traditional version with country gravy, I would suggest the Chile Verde version instead. There is a nice spice to it and it is something I have never seen before. You will not leave here hungry as our meal includes a choice of bread be it biscuits and gravy, toast, or tortillas.

What a GREAT breakfast! The food was amazing- big portions- fast service! Our waitress Nancy was the best - she was attentive- efficient- and mindful of our needs! She was outstanding!

As you can tell our food was very good. I had the lumberjack breakfast and my wife had the strawberry crepes. I also had a cup of chili verde. I really enjoyed it but I wasn't a fan of the tomatillo skin in it. Over all the service was amazing, the food was delicious and the restaurant was welcoming and very comfortable. I definitely would recommend this place. It's just sad that we live in Reno NV.

Breakfast here with a friend who recommended it. Was directed to choose a table, and ordered coffee. We both decided on Chicken fried steak, eggs over medium, hash browns and toast. Within a reasonable time, food arrived. Large, CFS, covered in the right amount of nice gravy. Big portion of crisped hash browns. Perfectly cooked eggs, and hot toast. Doesn't get much better than this! Definitely has the old school ambience of a family owned diner. Server was okay. Food was fresh, plentiful and priced right. If in the area, would eat here again.

Food and service is always great! It's like a old time neighborhood restaurant! Breakfast is always my go to, but one day I'll go back for the liver and onions. I'm a fan of their biscuits and gravy for sure!!

First time here and meet a few friends for an early breakfast on a Friday morning. It was way busier then I was expecting it to be. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a friendly welcome. Luckily there was an available table when we walked in so we were seated immediately. The place is pretty small so the tables are pretty cramb in there. To get to our table we had to squeeze through a few chairs. Our server greeted us within minutes and took our drink order. When she came back with out drinks she was ready to take our order. Once we ordered it wasn't long after we had our plates in front of us. We all enjoyed everything. Our server continued to check in us and make sure everything was good. I personally ordered the chicken and waffles and the chicken was my favorite part. The batter on the chicken had a lot of flavor. Overall the service was great and the food was delicious.

First time here. OMG what a great place. Sign said sit anywhere. Cute dinner room. Very cozy and lots of fun stuff in the walls. Place looks spotless! We grabbed a seat and honestly it was just the best service!! We decided on breakfast. I had eggs with hash browns and sausage links. And English muffin ( perfect toasted) Husband got 3 eggs.. hash browns a biscuit /gravy and " silver dollar" pancakes side. Wow... huge pancakes... can't imagine how big the regular pancakes are!! Can't wait to return. Will try lunch next time!!
